All bionico salads are not created equal. Here they always give enough sauce and the fruit is always good. Friendly staff too. I'll go out of my way to come here just for their bionicos.

The food is good, the place is clean, and there is free and easy parking in the complex, but they don't offer ground beef as a filling, the restrooms require a key which makes washing your hands kinda pointless if you must then return the key holder, and it's especially annoying to see a tip line on the receipt of a restaurant that doesnt offer table service (I like not having table service, by the way -- no reason to waste money tipping!).

I recommend they add a digital combination lock to access the bathrooms and do away with the community key; and, I recommend chaging the settings in the credit card merchant software to get rid of the unnecessary line asking for a tip when paying with a credit card.

Extremely frustrating trying to place a to go order.

I called and was put on hold for 7 minutes, I hung up and tried calling back and got the busy tone.

I waited 10 minutes to call back and tried to order again but she couldn't understand anything I was trying to order; I tried both English and Spanish but she didn't seem to understand either.

I gave up trying to order, very annoying because I really wanted to eat here. No one was available to take my order in English, and they acted like they didn't understand my Spanish. Terrible customer service, felt like they didn't want my business.

The name makes me laugh sometimes but this is my favorite place to get Mexican food in OC.

    My favorites are:
    - Tacos de birria w/consome (5/5): The best tacos here. The meat is juicy and the tortilla has a nice bite to it. Their sauces are also super spicy, so be warned. I can handle spice pretty well, but I can't hang with this sauce. Consome is a generous portion and is very flavorful.

    - Esquites (5/5): It used to be a bit watery for me, but on the most recent time I've visited it was perfect. Creamy, delicious, generous portion for a small.

I've also had the torta ahogada, tostilocos, and pepinos locos. They're all really good if you're in the mood for them. As for drinks, I think the horchata is alright as its a bit too powdery and too sweet. I recommend the mangoneada or fruit punch.

Overall this is such an awesome spot for Mexican food in OC and so underrated.

I love Birria and I've been craving it for the longest time! It's just so hard to find a good place with good Birria that doesn't have a lot of fat and doesn't have too much salt. My search is over! This place has the absolute best Birria I've ever tasted in my life (no disrespect to my grandma of course). The meat is tender, it's juicy, and perfectly seasoned! The best part is that they put some of the soup part of the meat in a separate cup so you can put as much or as little as you'd like! They serve the Birria tacos in groups of 3 and according to the menu, you can order them individually but when I tried to order just two they said I couldn't. If this happens to you i would refer them to the menu, maybe the cashier was confused.
I haven't had the opportunity to try the treats they offer, but I'm already looking for reasons to go back so I'll be back soon!
